Description
Dakota Switchgrass is a perennial grass that establishes itself by shallow sowing and firming down for 10 to 15 years.
It establishes itself in 2 years and develops a small, non-invasive rhizomatous root system.
Native to North Dakota, this variety matures moderately early.
It is adapted to alkaline or slightly alkaline soils and is drought-tolerant.
It is shorter than Cave in Rock, but has the advantage of remaining upright throughout the winter.
