1 dose of Switchgrass variety RC Sundance + 1 dose of Switchgrass variety RC Chippewa. Combining these two varieties is a winning combination for dry and/or shallow soils. This duo is also highly productive in good soil conditions.

How I use it: I primarily use it for my alternative bedding and forage production. Other uses include biomass production, hunting cover, planting in catchment areas or no-treatment zones, and stabilizing soils, banks, and hillsides, limiting erosion and contributing to the ecological improvement of the environment.

The RC Chippewa Switchgrass variety is tall and robust with thick, rigid stems, more upright than other varieties. It maintains good productivity with little rainfall and is suitable for wildlife as shelter. As an alternative to straw for animal bedding, it has excellent absorbency.

RC Chippewa can be used extensively, sown around water catchment areas or grassy no-treatment zones. It also produces abundant, high-quality hay.

The RC Sundance Switchgrass variety is tall and upright. It maintains good productivity with little rainfall, and its early maturity is an advantage during summer heat waves. It provides dense shelter for wildlife. As an alternative to straw for animal bedding, it also has excellent absorbency.

It has a strong root system for dry periods and is also well-suited to deep soils. Popular with hunters for land management, like the Switchgrass – Late/Wet PackDuo.
RC Sundance can also be sown around water catchment areas or grassy no-treatment zones. It also produces abundant, high-quality hay.
