Description
Gamagrass is a perennial grass that is established by autumn or spring sowing with pre-germination and can remain viable for 10 to 15 years.
It establishes itself in 2 years and provides excellent quality dry forage, haylage, or silage.
It can be used extensively, planted around water catchment areas.
This variety is primarily intended for animal feed, with broad leaves and very good digestibility. The forage matures at a moderate stage.
It is suitable for all soil types and thrives in soils with good potential.
Target yields of 3 to 7 tonnes at 12% to 15% protein per 1000 meters.
